Composition & Songwriting Lessons
Your child will develop her creative abilities, problem solving skills, and knowledge of music theory; gain a realistic perspective on the creative industry as a whole, and otherwise, benefit from a positive mentorship when enrolled private instruction with Chris.
At 32 years old, he has a Bachelors of Arts in Music Theory/Composition from Wake Forest University with honors and a Masters in Music Composition from the University of Louisville under the auspices of a Moritz von Bomhard fellowship. He has written and composed music for a wide variety of ensembles, including chamber groups, jazz ensembles, and full orchestras. He is an avid songwriter and proponent of Pat Pattison’s teachings on lyrical writing, and is currently working on his second album.
Chris is fluent on the guitar, and has performed in rock groups, jazz ensembles (especially Brazilian bossa nova groups), and as a solo, classical guitarist.

Four Lessons ($55/lesson) - Sign up for four lessons at a time
Twelve Lessons ($50/Lesson) - Sign up for lessons for a full semester/school season.

All lessons are an hour long. You may reschedule at anytime 24 hours before the lesson time; otherwise, you will be asked to pay a $15 fee. You can receive a refund at any time for your untaught lessons, but already taught lessons are non-refundable.
